Unexpected fall

I don't know where you are
while I'm surrounded by my own shadow
the leaves in the trees turn red
under the darkness of an unwanted fall
I look around searching for what I lost
and all the promises you didn't keep
and I only find my own reflection
in the cold waters of your hardened heart.
