Undone

My work's undone,
Yet words unspoken,
More deeds to do,
More life to live

More songs to sing
To heal the broken
More joy to bring
And love to give

I am not ready to close the chapter,
But death prepared a place for me.
My loved ones mourn the moments after,
In time and space my soul shall be.

I am not ready to close the chapter,
This book unfinished, stories untold
Yet death has silenced my voice and laughter,
My end has come,
My life is done,
And death has left me still and cold.

Asè.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
