Underwater
I feel the water
rising which shouldn't
be surprising.
Lately the emotions
they come like waves.
Wanting a kiss, a hug
are among the things
that I crave.
I know it makes it
hard on you when
I'm upset and feeling
blue but don't you
see I'm drowning
and I don't know
what to do.
You're so strong and
beautiful. I'd like
to be like you, calm
controlled and always
knowing just what to do.
If you could please
remember that
I love you when
my head is under
water, and try if you
can to forgive me when
I've become a bother.
