Underneath the Moonlit Sky

When the egg yolk sun vanishes away
And the crimson of heaven begins to decay

Moon ascends to the throne of sky
Now fully mature, she is using her strength to untie

Fairies constrained in space by cosmic power___
Finally free, they all take out their wands in delight

Silver fibers spring out from those wands
And cover like a magical shield, the whole wide world

They reaches the Earth and the silvery shield remains intact
Which brings to life even the dormant creatures of the Earth

Earth's inhabitants welcome the ethereal beings,
And In the best possible way, do their biddings

Wind blows through woods to play the music along
The Leaves which sing the most bewitching song

Flowers unleash all their Aromas
Awakening the fireflies from their fortnight coma

But Sea is cold to them like Neptune
For she is in love only with the Moon

And she will dance for the queen of Night
Like a mad maiden in a very huge gown

She rises and falls, rises and falls... oddly
Struggling to somehow abandon her body

To enter the spirit world and to embrace____
The Moon just like matter sucked by black hole in space

So, she dances furiously in complete ecstasy
And never gets tired even for once

In the silver cold magical light
I too watch the show as a spectator, but silent
And my heart gets filled with magic and joy

It goes on and on until the Dawn
turns the silver dark to Crimson again

Horizon ignites...
Moon becomes invisible to sights
Fairies are called back
And the sea finally halts...!

Such a lovely poem. "And she will dance for the queen of night Like a mad maiden in a very huge gown" - this intrigued me.

Thank you Edward, means a lot... Will try your contest some other day... This poem was first titled as "In the shadow of a full moon", but after seeing your contest, I changed the title, but then I find out that your demand was of free verse. Had I known before, I would have written in free verse where we also have a bigger room to express our thoughts. Thanks anyway :)
