Underneath the Miscletoe

Gone is the crowd, all the lights, and all the noise, hands clasped, eyes met, all that remains are the joys. Shaking now, lips quiver and hearts beat fast, each hoping this moment always and forever last. Does he love me, does she really care, these are the thoughts they equally share. Her hair so long and pretty, his body so strong, they can’t remove their eyes, it won’t now be long. Feet slide as they move, heads lean and lips begin to part, a wondrous kiss they share, in their love this is just the start. Miracles happen and very few who don’t know, that love and life can begin underneath the mistletoe.
