Underdog
They tell you that it’s not worth the effort
They tell you that it will never work
Everyone believes it’s a hopeless endeavor
And that you will continue to get hurt
But you didn’t listen,
You didn’t care what they had to say
You were driven
To be the best in every way
You blocked out the negatives
And gave it your all
You were so definite
That you wouldn’t fall
They all tore you down
That you wouldn’t have a victorious epilogue
Because soon you would be crowned
And forever be known as the winning underdog
