Under the Water
Under the water

Hold me under the water
Where I can breathe so well
Where mermaids seek me out
And we swim beneath the swells
Where I can be wild and free
Become an ocean soul
Enjoy the vast beauty
Of this magical place unknown
Keep me under the water
Away from the terra firma ways
Far from destroyed habitats
Where Nature is declining daily
I want to be in peace
I want the opportunity to dream
In a liquid crystal palace
Where I can truly be seen
For here life is revered a little more
For it's not as accessible
But still it has its challenges
For creatures that there do dwell
I want to swim with dolphins
I want to commune with whales
I want to have fun with penguins
I want to hear their tales
For every single species
Is unique and incredible
They create this amazing place
Where synergistically they all live
Like a vast unexplored planet
Beneath the ocean waves
Our marine life is critical
To keep our planet in balance
Without the big blue we will falter
For our ecosystems would collapse
The knock-on effects would be tragic
To humans and animals that exist
I want to see the oceans
As perfect as they are on Earth
I pray it's not too late
To reverse the damage we've done
Free me unto the water
This ocean blue so deep
Love and light and healing
So much power and grace and peace
