Under The Moon lite Skies

From the moment I closed my eyes
I am taken back to another place another place
A place with a special memory,
Where you and I vowed to love each other eternally.
Sharing long walks under the
Moonlit skies ,
And wishing on a falling star before it was out of sight.
We’d plan our future and how perfect our lives would be.
Pledging together we would always be.

But always changed and you left one day,
Just simply stepped out of my life and went away.
For so long I blamed it all on me,
Wondering what did I do to make you go away.
I wonder if you still at times think of me
Wonder as silly as it sounds did you ever really loved me.

The years have passed and I’ve moved on,
I have found that someone who helped me carry on.
And now when we walk under the moon lite skies,
I smile and look into his emerald green eyes,
I realize he was always there waiting for me,
Waiting, patiently and wanting to show his love for me .
