Unconscious bias can upset one's heart if kin or friends might shun your written art- to look upon good poetry as play- negating words that might uplift their day. Some think of poetry as silly writes that jumble words and do not meet the rights to be upheld as literary worth- with any thoughtful meanings to unearth. Perhaps poetic metaphors give pause and render writers void of earned applause. Ambiguity somehow dismisses sense; unconscious bias- inborn to commence. Most poets may unveil views quite obscure that sometimes deems their sanity unsure by those who harbor this unconscious fact- and hold back ways by which they should react. We're thankful other poets read our art with no unconscious bias on their part. They understand the nuances displayed in chosen thoughts so artfully conveyed.

Dear Sandra, You did display such art and conveyed your message so well. I enjoyed reading your poem and as a counselor, we are always trying to recognize if we have unconscious bias going on or not. Sometimes it is pointed out to us. - Blessings, My Dear Friend, Daniel

Dear sandra, this is such a wise and profound take on unconscious bias, which is so common and true it can hurt friends and family when one is receives such bias. And its clever of you to use it in the aspect of poetry and how so many assume and judge , special are the ones that read with an open heart and welcome all. Pleasure reading this, sending you light always
