Unconditioonal Love - the Short Version

I live inside this bottle
Because it makes me feel
Like nothing else I've ever felt
Don't tell me it's not real

The Captain looked into my eyes
And saw the pain that I denied
He knew His love could set me free
When I saw in Him what He saw in me.

What! Where's the long version?! I'll go back to you list to see if I can find it. Again, very nice, instantly captures the imagination and your skillcraft is very nice. Thanks again... <><

Karen, first I thank you for your comment on my poem, Love Will Survive. The inspiration for my poem was a huge divide between my brother and me. I wanted him to know we could overcome any differences we might have. Our mending is a work in progress. I chose to read your poem Unconditional Love - the short version because it was posted on my Mom's birthday. Very well done. All my best wishes for you.
