Uncompromised

Don’t overgive till your hands run dry,
Or overexplain each silent why.
Don’t settle because it’s been too long,
Confusing patience with being strong.

You loved too deep, you carried more,
Held your storms behind a gentle door.
Strength shouldn’t make your heart seize,
Silencing self for borrowed peace.

So choose the path that chooses you,
Save yourself while your light shines true.
Detachment is not defeat,
It’s how a soul learns to stay complete.
