Uncle Harry

He came in loud and proud, Uncle Harry.
We were glad our aunt Tee he did marry.
We liked him almost instantly, and well.
He always had the best stories to tell.
Until the cancer came into his life
Quickly wiped away so much of his strife
Ruining things and making us so mad.
Utterly defeated that he was so bad.

This was an uncle of mine as well. It is a thing that happens, A tragic story... told in repeated time... twice.. and again... So sad my friend. "C" takes the meat and potatoes and then the soul .... if it can... so sad... angels to your door surround you and keep you safe. Ann

Hi Care, Cancer has no respect for age, colour, creed or nation - a nasty unwanted scary sickness that can strike anyone anytime! Well penned my friend - sorry about your Uncle Harry. Hugs, Jennifer.
