Unbroken Union

I need her to move me
Touch me inside
To make me see
Expose what I hide

To whisper softly
Which direction to take
Let her call me
On every mistake

To be a guide
A strength within
Walk by my side
Join me at the end

Be a constant breath
Added to mine
My next step
We walk the line

Her gentle nod
To confirm my fate
Every mile I’ve trod
Reflects my state

And with lovers kiss
A union unbroken
The grip of my fist
The words unspoken

Now await sweet sleep
Dreamful slumber
The secrets we keep
As we go under

Two souls united
And bleed into one
With faith confided
Our song is sung

She’s by my side
She is my heart
A worthwhile ride
An uneasy start

Just silent conversation
Of a blink of time
Our quiet contemplation
Of a singular mind
