Unbound Heart

The winter is colder than on mars Yet as I gaze upon distant stars When I think of her looking through bars Only fire in her eyes heals my heart’s scars Her eyes are like stars Like supernova pulsars She is forced to look through the bars Beyond sea of fire of stars night’s coldness is surprising to souls of ours The ice covers heart like vines To protect from the cold star declines But through the cold that scars her and my heart like spines The eyes still burn bright and surreal life in them shines I dare not think what would happen if loneliness of being behind bars Reaches to the heart the soul and eyes like stars There was no crime committed only self inflicted and bad memoirs Incorrectly identified as insanity to condemn innocent person to those boudoirs Like a phoenix from ashes she will rise Even if tears now cover her abyss deep eyes Like a rose her heart in the cold will not die and her soul will arise And I will be there to give hand until there will be new sunrise
