Unbound

My chains are broken
My soul is free
No longer bound
To your misery
Tears are dried
Cuts will heal
I walk upright
No longer kneel
Free to run
Free to walk
Smile, eyes intent
As I talk
Head up proud
No more shame
Freedom from a
Heartless game
Birds sing sun
Shines upon my face
Alluring simple I've
Returned to grace
Dark is light
No more pain
Bad is good
I'm alive again
My chains are broken
My soul is free
God has finally
Smiled upon me.

Hi Kelli, an excellent write, the tethers gone and freedom sings through your words. So good to be reading a light poem that just sings into the heart. Now dance into life and ever keep singing your poetic songs. This is a seven for me Kelli. Have a good day. Hugs....Mike. XX
