Unassailable Purity

A heart as white as flakes of snow
Wrapped in shades of silver and gold
That even when the whirlwinds blow
Its lilly-white shade, it will hold

Even when great temptations strike
It will remain sober and calm
For nothing in this world is like
A heart that holds on words of psalm

Midst the darkness of blinding night
It glows to tame the scourge of time
It will remain flaming and bright
It does not sway to spark of dime
