We seem to forget that time is limited,
We are not promised another day.
You breathing in the air you are,

and leave behind the imprints that your life made?
Could you walk upon the gates and see the master who you betrayed?
What if in your life you made a mistake,
that led others away?
Could you look into the eyes of the holy one,
and watch as the gates close in your face,
as you watch your God walk the other way?

Lovely write. Good poem showing your great liking for rebirth of soul. After very long journey like the humans, this soul also get tired and want to give rest to this body, so that it may take birth in a new body with new hopes and energy. But keep hopes alive so long we are in this world. As we may get very little with hopes but without hopes can get nothing. Thanks. Hope you would read my poem Unheard melodies to regain your happiness from Nature. Best wishes and love Ravindra
