Unanswered Questions

Do you like waking up with me there?
If I walked away, would you care?
Do you wait for me, expect my call,
Or do you not think of me at all?
Does the future ever cross your mind?
Will I be a part of it, given time?
Do you feel a strong desire for me,
Or do I merely satisfy your need?
I can make you laugh if I try,
But do I ever make you cry?
When we're together so intimately,
Do your thoughts dwell only on me?
When we’re apart and I am far away,
Do you wish that I would be there to stay?
Is my love for you given all in vain?
Will you ask me to take your last name?
Will I be the one who shares the rest of your life?
Do you think that I would make you a good wife?
