Umbra of Night

The reaper of the dark has crept in like a mist
Trapping all its victims within the shadow net
With vapors of hypnotic power you can't resist
You fall helplessly into a numbing trance
To escape this snare there is no chance
All precious memories you soon will forget

Awake and seek the light oh dreary dream
Fade away far from all my thought
Unleash your grasp for you hold the beams
Of the moon's pure and righteous light
I beg of you oh ebon veil that drapes the night
Release to flight all the visions you have caught
