Through mist and rain I walk the pier Truly my favourite time of year Umber sky and umber ocean All chaotic frenzied motion. Heaving waves foam and spume Dance macabre without a tune Seagulls screech duck and dive Energised feeling briskly alive. Turbulent view is painted umber Seascape beguiles it's full of wonder This is my time my happy place Perfect freedom with breathing space.
