U Ain'T Foolin Me

I want to cuddle you cleverly I loved you since Hills, Beverly I hooked up many times and I don’t regret the experiences But, the aftermath of my sins are only mere reminiscences You ain’t fooling me, bizarre notions You ain’t fooling me, crazy emotions Soften up like butter on toast You are humbly accepted to boast You don’t know my past I live in the present — what about you? Are you running too fast On this race, trying to keep pace? Don’t you know I have vast grace? You ain’t fooling me, anger You ain’t fooling me, banger You are messing with the wrong guy Can’t deny and I cannot lie…I’m feeling so damn high Then, regret settles in…but I’m not fooling anyone (sigh) I want to be near you right now But I must be patient and prosperous Not preposterous or oh so anxious somehow My mind is so spacious and gracious, nonsensically and nonchalantly living in the now You ain’t fooling me, bizarre notions You ain’t fooling me, crazy emotions Soften up like butter on toast You are humbly accepted to boast You don’t know my past I live in the present — what about you? Are you running too fast On this race, trying to keep pace? Don’t you know I have vast grace? You ain’t fooling me, anger You ain’t fooling me, banger You are messing with the wrong guy Can’t deny and I cannot lie…I’m feeling so damn high Then, regret settles in…but I’m not fooling anyone (sigh) I can’t deny or lie, You’re a vision with precision I can’t deny or lie, I ain’t fooling the Lord with my final decision — I’m letting you go Know I still love you regardless Reap what you sow Know I still love you more or less You ain’t fooling me, bizarre notions You ain’t fooling me, crazy emotions Soften up like butter on toast You are humbly accepted to boast You don’t know my past I live in the present — what about you? Are you running too fast On this race, trying to keep pace? Don’t you know I have vast grace? You ain’t fooling me, anger You ain’t fooling me, banger You are messing with the wrong guy Can’t deny and I cannot lie…I’m feeling so damn high Then, regret settles in…but I’m not fooling anyone (sigh) Do it, just show me that you care You can’t just leave me behind in despair You ain’t fooling anyone with your precarious ways I am caught up in a summer haze and a sugarcoated gaze Spread your deceitful, pretty lies I dare you as you say your final goodbyes You can’t just change me overnight I will fight the good fight without a fright It took a long time for me to admit, admit That I’m lost without you here It shook me to the core, I need an outlet That I’m found when you’re near You ain’t fooling me, bizarre notions You ain’t fooling me, crazy emotions Soften up like butter on toast You are humbly accepted to boast You don’t know my past I live in the present — what about you? Are you running too fast On this race, trying to keep pace? Don’t you know I have vast grace? You ain’t fooling me, anger You ain’t fooling me, banger You are messing with the wrong guy Can’t deny and I cannot lie…I’m feeling so damn high Then, regret settles in…but I’m not fooling anyone (sigh) You don’t know my past I live in the present — what about you? Are you running too fast On this race, trying to keep pace? Don’t you know I have vast grace? You ain’t fooling me… You made an excuse to leave me be Can’t you truly see That I adored you, but I’ll eventually be all the way free I’m too busy, being me, myself and I That, I cannot deny…I’m a complicated, peculiar guy I’m painfully shy, yet I’m not at the same time Is it a crime to still hold on to loved ones this time? Sometimes, I wonder… In a summer blur But you ain’t fooling me, you ain’t fooling me, me, me With your brokenness Possibly, it’s a possibility and a missed opportunity We can all be free sincerely more or less I’m making progress — What about you? Cuz you ain’t foolin me one bit With your boredom disease
