Two Spiritual Realms of Light and Darkness - 1 John 2: 7-11
Light and darkness clearly opposites
within two spiritual realms
such contrast between the two
split down the middle to be true
There's no truth like God's truth
for it rules with authority divine
look out to see its shining light
so clear being from the vine
This world loves to tell lies
sinfulness brings utter disgrace
which ultimately means death
guilty the verdict on their case
Spiritual vision required so much
seeing eternally for God's glory
God's gift of imputed righteousness
makes salvation a wondrous story
Spiritual darkness comes pitch black
blotting out any light there at all
the arch-enemy loves to keep us dark
full of evil that results in the fall

At the same time, it is a new commandment that I am writing to you, which is true in him and in you, because the darkness is passing away and the true light is already shining. Whoever says he is in the light and hates his brother is still in darkness. Whoever loves his brother abides in the light, and in him there is no cause for stumbling. But whoever hates his brother is in the darkness and walks in the darkness, and does not know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded his eyes.")
