Two Souls, One Life

Two souls.
One life.
One soul leaning toward the light,
To be pure and good.
The other leaning toward the dark,
To be mean and selfish.
What soul do I follow?
Should my soul be pure?
Full of light and happiness?
Or should my soul be rotten?
Full of darkness and hate?
But my heart pulls me toward the light.
My mind pulls me toward the dark,
What do i choose?
To live inside?
Or to die inside?
Two souls,
One life.

It's that battle isn't it? Fill in what is light and what is dark, it can mean so many different things. And the hard one is to find the balance between the two... Well written.
