Two Small Copper Coins
2 Small Copper Coins
Under the sun, an old lady stood in line.
She had to wait her turn, she didn’t mind.
She was alone with not much to say.
She was a poor widow that never complained.
In front of the line stood the rich giving very little.
I like this verse because it was short and powerful.
When the old lady stood in front of the table.
All she had was 2 small copper coins to give as she was humble.
A small gift can go a long way.
After all this time, a powerful message was given in poverty.
When was the last time you offered a good deed?
Not to ask for anything in return through the treasury.
What a great example it was that she gave all she had in the collection box.
She walked away in abundance on the sidewalk.
Sometimes we need to take time out and to be humble.
Not to complain and to worry about tomorrow.
Through the horizon we are beyond blessed.
Give it all to Jesus, for he will give us rest.
The old lady in a short verse gave her all.
Embrace the moment through temperament and stand tall.
Weare all unique in our own way.
I love the open wind after it rains.
Be the one who holds the lamp and shows the light.
You are the one so beautiful standing in white.
You showed me the way when I was down.
In loneliness you understood and now I am found.
