Two Ships At Sea
We're just two ships at sea
Passing through the night
And with each gentle breeze
We'll make it come out right
As we sail closer by
We catch each other's eye
You and I alone in a sea of humanity
Won't you come and port with me?
There lost in each others arms
Lighted by the silvery moon
We discover love once more
Strangers on a lonely shore
Caress me once again
Gaze into my eyes
No secrets do we share
Nothing about our lives
Just holding each other tight
Fighting the loneliness of the night
If our love is wrong
How could it feel so right?
And before the dawn breaks forth a new day
We'll set sail on our separate ways
Never to know if we shall meet again
Never to have asked those thoughts we held within
So kiss me once more before we leave
Touch my face with your hand
And let us make our way back to distant lands
Just two ships, alone at sea
