Two of Us
In the park she sits on the bench
Her man is a romantic, not French
They met at a get together
Now they bonded forever.
After 2 decades they are still in love
Although life has treated them rough
Many years of hell
They have so much to tell
After many years they are still in love
They suit each other like a glove.
Their love for one another
Makes them adore each other.
Kids all grown up and gone
Now they live alone
It is like living on a thrown
Now that they are alone
She sees him walking down the street
On him she will never cheat
Many years ago, she made a vow
In life with him she will plough
Their future looks bright
They are now living in the light
He sees her, the prettiest girl
To him she is his Pearl
A kiss on the lips
And into his grip, she slips
At the end of the day
Going home is the only way
To be with his wife
Whom he will love all his life
Lying next to her in bed
He lays and strokes her head
Lying next to her
He feels like a connoisseur.
