Two Different Worlds

We came from two different worlds
Existing here in a place where we never felt
We were wanted or belonged.
Yet we searched for that one true love
Who would fill the empty corners of
Our soul.
A special one who would end this loneliness and make us whole.

It seemed the ancient ones heard our pleas,
And sent down one seeking the same answers as me.
Gently taking your hand and assuring you
Together we would always be.
Here deep in our hearts we finally found a place and a home
And until our time here ceases to be
Our two different worlds will be one with you and me
