Twixt Yes and No
HOW COMES RHYME, A VERSE IN TIME
WHAT CAUSE A POET SEES
JUST FOR HIM A TOKEN HYMN
THERE'S SOMEONE HE MUST PLEASE
IT COUNTS FOR NOUGHT BUT POEMS OUGHT
TRANSCEND AND BE FOR GOOD
PERHAPS INQUIRE FOR WHOM A CHOIR
SINGS OR IF IT SHOULD
THE POET STILL CONTROLS A WILL
THOUGH IT BE NON OR SENSE
FOR POETS KNOW TWIXT YES AND NO
DWELLS ALL THE DIFFERENCE
