The news that Trump is Twitter-free
Is wonderful for you and me
For now we’ll never have to hear
The lies that daily would appear.

The put-downs, insults, lowlife rants
Will not, from now on, have a chance
To hurt or damage someone’s name
Or set his followers aflame.

They say that karma is the glitch
You can't avoid, so it is rich
To know the muzzle’s permanent – 
Those missing tweets we won’t lament.
