Twinkling refrain

A thousand stars twinkled all at once
A thousand more twinkled in refrain
Swaying palms danced to a gentle breeze
As waves rushed to shore with a melodic strain

The harvest moon flashed a golden smile
As summer memories go sailing by
While the heavens glow in splendid style
As the the autumn wind sighs

Oh my, this is so breathtaking, dear Joseph..the imagery, wordsmithery and the flow, everything is beyond enchanting here! Love the oceanic and breeze scenes that you've woven and that heartfelt transition from summer memories to autumn breathes, absolutely stunning.. "As waves rushed to shore with a melodic strain" and love the rhymes as well! Gorgeous! Pleasure reading your words today, sending you light and best wishes ~
