Twinkle twinkle little child

18 April 2024 5:53 Pm Twinkle twinkle little star How I wonder what you are Up above the clouds so high Like a diamond in the sky I remember when I was a child, innocent in my ignorance I did not know God who or what he is, nothing of His magnificense Lieing on my bed alone I felt His presence in my room I did not know who this presence was I just knew He was out there beyond the moon I felt His call I did not hear He felt so far but yet so near I knew there was something bigger than all I knew not His name or what He was called I felt drawn to my window and knelt on my knees And sang to the stars and felt that He was pleased Not long after that we started going to church It was baptist and was nestled at the foot of a mountain called Burk The pastor took me out side to see the stars And the moon was crossed by light beam bars He said that cross reminds us of the God up there I stood there in awe stareing up in the air We moved on to pentacostal where I understood more I have been sailing ever after for that far distant shore He called me and I heard Him more times after that Sometimes I obeyed and sometimes I was the brat But I have matured and God endured all that I was And all I have become Thank you Father for that special time And the twinkle twinkle little rhyme
