Twin Flames

Twin flames...igniting sparks
Exciting...heads all in a spin
Ultimately meant to be
Yang to the other's yin

She is his golden sunrise,
the embers of her smile warm his day
He is her moon that illuminates her night sky
blanketing her, he sends the sweetest dreams her way

They are each other's love potion
Inebriated from the start
It seems as though they were each born 
with the key to each other's heart

But similar to light sabers that cannot be crossed
Overwhelming, such a strong energy can be
It can leave them feeling out of control
unable to handle it's power consistently

So unfortunately, one from the other, they consistently flee...
And yet...when one is sad, the other still cries a tear
If there is physical pain, love's embrace can be felt
even if the other is no where near

And so it goes...
Will they ever be able to let the flames engulf them?
Only God knows...
