TWIN FLAME
I never heard of such a thing
Just viewed your visage in Spirit form
In that instant, though a child
I knew I was the center of your storm
I grew and the experience stayed
Like etching on a precious stone
Yearning for a normal life
Where I would not be required to be alone
Finally, a mate came, though I knew
The red flags flew high and proud
Surviving that relationship
Left TRUTH silent and trauma loud
I'm sad my children watched it all
I can feel the weight of a failed example
Wanting and not getting is one thing
But cutting that thread because value in not ample
It's not in my path to let you go
Though I do not know your expression
I will flow with full hope and joy
Knowing you will appear in memory's resurrection.
