Twilight Wants To Protect Outsiders

Maids were dainty and pleasant to look upon, the north wind thought.
She crept up to see them in silent affiliation within the tones of twilight.
Twilight was not worried, she could feel the cold wind dissipating a bit.
Others in the forest headed for shelter, not inviting the outsiders.

It is chilly here, Vendetta whispered to her sister, feeling a bit cold.
It’s the wind, Venicia replied, because twilight is leaving in a few.
Twilight wanted to stay around, but alas, she was not a protector.
She was merely a magnificent sight. She gave them a parting smile.

This such an interesting poem, Caren. You have the time of day so neatly into it. (Twilight) "was merely a magnificent sight." So true!
