Twiggs and stems

   Twiggs and stems,
   Holding up their end.

   Flowers and buds,
   At long last above.

   All most done,
   When no more sun.

   Twiggs and stems,
   With us till winters end.

Thank you, my first cool rainy day of fall is a time of sadness. Already miss the flowers.
