Twenty Stars

Twenty stars now in the sky...
much too young to say "Goodbye,"
your lives we will not forget,
your dreams will live--no regret.

Our tears are for what's been done--
a man killing with a gun;
we cry because you are gone,
that pain will go on and on.

Your families will miss you,
our nation will miss you too;
the sadness will not relent
for lives too young to be spent.

You are in a better place--
where love has infinite space,
God will wrap you in His care...
just like your own teddy bear.

Hi George, this is so sad, you write it beautiful, and with grace... happy new year...
