TWEED

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
rough, wooly cloth sewn from earthy threads, entwined comfort in autumn chill woven for the biting wind thick, elbow-patched anchors scholars to their desks breathes of peat-smoke and ink heather trapped in warp and weft
Lovely throwback in my mind to the 70' and 80's when I sewed my own clothes and tweeds were the ultimate fall fabric. I loved the weight of it and how it draped.
I, too, enjoyed sewing with tweed and wearing it...something classy about it.
