'twas the Night Before Christmas

'twas the night before Christmas,
Nothing was stirring,
Not in our house.
Been out for a bevvy,
Had a great Christmas Meze.
Dogs on the rug, asleep by the fire,
We sat on the couch,
Each wrapped in our thoughts.
She with hot tea and a chocolate for me.
She, I watched, in repose,
As she started to doze.
Now it's bedtime for two sleepy heads,
Pray Christmas Day, this year will bring,
Peace to All, near and afar.
For those who believe
To follow that Star.
May The Father of All,
Bless you with His Love.
Grant you his Grace,
And put love in your heart
