Tunnel Vision

TUNNEL VISION

All those years lost living in fear, with blinkers on tear after tear
Will this nightmare never end? Please just send me one good friend
A guardian angel for me alone, to stop my heart from turning to stone
I’m building bridges and getting over, I no longer run for cover
I am on a lifelong mission to be rid of tunnel vision
Somebody please just throw me a line I feel I’m running out of time
Now and then I see some light, far away then out of sight
Everything just causes fright, every day and every night
Every night and every day, I just want to run away
I’m building bridges and getting there, I’m no longer in despair
Very soon I will discover, there’s no need to run for cover
Now I’m standing in the light, there’s never been a better sight
It’s nice and warm here in the sun, my new life has just begun
I just want to have some fun, no longer feeling the urge to run.
