Tunes From Heaven

In the back of my mind I still hear the mystical sound Of the mandolin you once played all around I kept looking around but you could not be found Hopelessly trying to follow the delightful sound Dad, you being a musical guy in your day I’m sure in heaven you found an instrument to play Being it a harp or a violin Your magical tune comes through even if you beat on a hollow tin You must be sending these tunes from above With a little bit of help from the god’s of love These familiar tunes so flawless and grand I know it’s not just coming from your hand Eros to your left and Cupid to your right… together you three form the Perfect Love Band! While the angels behind you would serenade Slowly and silently your tunes start to fade Copyright © Farah Diba Pastor

A nice tribute to your dad. Mine plays the clarinet. I loved being serenaded with show tunes. He stopped playing, mostly, this year after his triple bypass and the death of my mom.

hi. thank you! My father could play various instruments, but none of us inherited that skill, but his poetic skills yes. All of the best with your dad!
