Tsunami

“TSUNAMI” May we had been prescient of the disaster, The ocean with anger gave a bite bitter; On this day some years back, Every heart witnessed pain’s track; Water is our life, our source, That day it brutally changed its course; Dead bodies everywhere found in stalk, Even the peaceful evening not survived with walk; It had the power to thrash the base, No one wants to return back in that phase; The buildings which were world famous, That moment nothing there to call it glamorous; Japanese were the first to give it name, TSUNAMI got its globally known fame; Be it India, Sri Lanka or Indonesia, Water that minute had only single agenda; First time then I sensed brotherhood, People came to help, whatever they could; When the ocean came to segregate, The whole world stood not to enervate; It imparted a lesson that day, We harm environment, soon we have doomsday; Let’s help to maintain ecological balance, Every act to sustainable development we have to commence; Though we lived, we got saved, Biosphere told to protect, walk the way it paved; Contamination will lead to retaliation, Mother Earth seems to be on verge of frustration; Join hands with wildlife, forestry and nature, Build up present to have better future; Tear apart every sinister from society, Taste the environment, say no more to calamity.
