Pearl studded gate looms
The Alpha Omega speaks
“Welcome home my child”

Very nice image of the pearly gates, Nate. Poems with the same syllable scheme as haikus that don't deal with nature are senryus. Great poem! Love, Carolyn

Nathan, this haiku IS about nature! It expresses recognition of our Creator; the Creator of all NATURE. And, of His creation's desire to commune with Him, then, to ultimately rest in His presence! I love it! Donna
