Try Me

Try me with your gentle smile,
and touch my very heart.

Try me with your cry of anguish,
with that look in your eyes.

Try me with your fears that linger,
closely everyday.

I'll share many tears with you, and give a helping
hand. I may not always understand, but know that I will try.

Try me with your heavy loads,
a weight upon your heart.

Try me as I patiently wait for thee,
to call on me.

Try me with your pain and despair,
try me because I care.

I'll share many tears with you, and give a helping
hand. I may not always understand, but know that I will try.
