Truth To Love
the heart
a beautifully tragic concept
its where most decisions are made
and all emotions are kept
its the part of us that is strongest
yet the most fragile
it takes a million actions to beat
but to break it
only takes a single lie
some can break and remain to stay kind
while others build walls and hide
some will live and thrive
while others suffer and cry
it never takes much to feel dead inside
yet requires so much to just be alright
it takes a lifetime to heal
but a single moment to be broken
love is not temperamental
only unconditional
if its true
its a perpetual feeling of comfort and bliss
and can sometimes be discovered through a single kiss
it comes to all
whether you're short or tall
insecure or broken
big or small
so don't try to find it
make mistakes
make your self and break yourself
because you don't find love
love finds you
please trust me
every word of this is true
if love can find me
love can find you.
