Truth Over Apology

My day, the time, my hours, the
minutes and my seconds
I thought I’d lost it all, but for a
moment
I had to find myself of that
state of the mind
Reality where all that Is left was
nothing

There must be a place where all
will be made right
Or will be pushed to that side
where nothing is left
Can still prove you wrong,
because you can’t always be
right
Apologized for being human,
that’s all that’s left

Maybe I did annoyed you, but
what are friends for
Tried to make it up with you and
that never went well
All I ever cared about, is what
you wanted to live for
Deception is the only felony, you
can still do well

It’s nothing that I can never
learn
Still nothing that you cannot
teach
The pain to know the truth isn’t
cheap
So I’d probably say it (I’M
SORRY), that I can’t keep

I will always find another way to
go hard again
Because surely I will make it
home one day
I pray you will still teach me
again
You are like a hormone for each
day.
