Truth Or Lie

I have told truths and told lies
Been myself wore a disguise
Been a jester a jeweler and even a thief
Oh yes I did it no matter how brief

We all have secrets that we have to keep
If you say no you’re lying and I call that cheap
There are things I can’t tell you cause you don’t need to know
If you push me or press me I will just have to go

How can you tell if I told you the truth
I want you to know I can be very uncouth
But I cannot hurt you I have a surprise
This poem I wrote is so full of lies

This poem made me think of a saying we use to have when I drove a truck. "You can tell when a lier is going to lie" That is "When he opens his mouth" LolGood write, Sincerely, Moses
