Truth Came Out
The truth came out-
So much to spill,
but it's how I feel.
Tired of hiding,
tired of lying.
I know your disappointed in me,
but why can't you just leave it be?
God knows I meant no harm,
it even shows on my arm.
On my knees begging for mercy,
but do I deserve it?
All I ask is to be forgiven,
but can it be forgotten?
Just take baby steps and I promise I'll show you,
what's it gonna take to get this through to you?
Put yourself in my shoes,
Now you see I can't choose.
