Truth

TRUTH
I might paint you with another character
Put you in a position you don’t want to be
I might hold you like a star up above many eyes
Yet you not a star not a hero
I might sing you a song, dance and also jump
Like a princess entertaining her prince
I might do all a queen does for her king
But all I do can’t be great when you don’t smile
Laugh that laughter that gives life meaning
For when I hope, I see you
Forgetting the past that you went
                                                                       through without me
The loves you had I forget
Looking to that fact that I have you
                                                                      And you have me
