Trusting In the Living Hope -Jeremiah 17: 7
This world is full of hopelessness
darkness enraptures it all around
hatred and evil evident to all
sad hearts burdened by sin abound
But there’s hope in midst of darkness
they’re a few who still believe
who look with their eyes upward
to their maker they continually cleave
God is their Lord who blesses them
keeping them safe and eternally secure
holding them close at His side
enabling them to forever endure
Those that willingly trust in the Lord
will know His constant peace and grace
for that will hold them strong and safe
when they look on to His lovely face
This God is always sure and certain
fills His redeemed flock with a living hope
when they look only unto the Lord Jesus
who washes them in His cleansing soap
