Trust and Truth Where Are You

I like to be independent, As much as I can I try to comply with tried and tested plans I do my best for someone in need I can't abide selfishness or greed I show concern for others Who are not as fortunate as I I try to be honest But I have been known to lie I have a conscience If I find that I am wrong I am wary of folk Who comes on too strong? Peace and harmony are never far away, In my mind, every day I pray for peace. I do not trust the daily news, That print their distorted views In this troubled world today I fear that we have gone astray. I don't understand what's normal anymore, Like a ship that can't find shore We are all at sea I feel that I can't conform I will not wear this uniform Where are truth and trust now We must find them somehow.

The Lord created us to be children of God. Great spiritual ideas.

Peace and harmony are in our souls, methinks, in our communion with our Maker who planted our souls within us. That's where harmony and peace are, where they always (and only) have been. ~ gw: Religious Fanatic, perhaps, but at peace and in equilibrium

A Wise Old Owl once hooted: 'Never believe in yourself until the day you die.' That can be taken two ways. I like to think that it gives us a chance to change our ways until the very end...

I think that God is our maker and gave us a chance to live in harmony in a perfect environment; I also believe that we are put to the test to see if we are worthy of his gracious plan, and we have failed miserably.
